The maps in this section are intended to help elected leaders draw together community partners who can help support the growth of world-class volunteer-based tutor/mentor programs in the districtof each elected official. In each category you can view a map showing a political district, with overlay showing areas of poverty, locations of poorly performing schools, locations of volunteer-based tutoring and mentoring programs. In addition there are layers showing businesses, faith groups, universities and hospitals, along with highway routes that connect people who don’t live in the district with the youth and families and tutor/mentor programs operating in the district.

We encourage political leaders to use these maps in their own daily leadership, so that they connect the assets of the district and the region, to the tutor/mentor programs already operating in their district, and to help new programs form in areas of the district where none now are shown. However, anyone in these political districts can use these maps to draw people together to solve the education and youth development challenges of the district.
