SVHATS has been modified slightly
to improve usability for students and volunteers. Now,
when these users log in, they are taken directly to the
entry log page. In addition, slight changes have been
made to the banner. |

SV-HATS has been
updated. All volunteers and students have been added to the
roster. Volunteers have been sent an email with their
username and password. Student username and password can be
found in the MY ACCOUNT part of the Volunteer's SV-HATS.
If you forget your username or password, click the
"forgot password" feature and we will email this
to you.
New students need to fill in the Student
Registration info page that is in their SV-HATS. This tells
us which programs they are participating in, what school
they attend, what grade they are when they join us,
etc. |

The questions on
the student and volunteer pages have been updated,
reflecting recommendations made by volunteers who used the
SVHATS regularly in 2004-05. |

The staff account
had a feature through which the staff can view the summary
of the latest notes of every student/ volunteer. This
feature displays the whole list of student and volunteers
that are registered with SVHATS irrespective of what
program/session they belong to. This made it difficult for
the staff to check volunteer and students notes
regularly.
This feature is extended so that staff can
only view the students and volunteers notes based on the
program (eg. Wednesday one-on-one, Thursday one-on-one,
Innervision Youth Production, Tech Club, Writing Club and
ALL). |
Career Board

The final
destination in one's life is career (Ambition want you want
to be in life). Cabrini Connections wants its members to
help each other in their careers. With the success of
bulletin board, we started a career section where volunteers
and students can talk about the career related topics.
The career board (meant only for career
oriented topics) is pretty much similar to the bulletin
board, with only difference being the topics discussed.

The idea of
puzzles on the bulletin has attracted a good number of
students. As the number of messages in the Bulletin Board
keeps increasing, it is very difficult to check for new messages
that are posted since the last visit. To better aid in
checking for new messages, we have created a new page that
will show the latest 20 posted messages separately. Upon clicking the new messages, it will
take you to the thread to which the new message belongs to (
or to the message it is posted in reply).
This feature will assist you in checking the postings since
your last visit on the bulletin board easily. |

Bulleting board is
incorporated into SVHATS. For better understanding of how a
forum works and how to use a forum, we will keep posting
puzzles on a weekly basis. For any further help how to use a
forum, please contact Vamshee during your tutoring sessions.
Note: Volunteers are
requested to work on the puzzles with their students in
your leisure time.
